About Products and Parts

Our recommendation is to always buy MWM products from our Authorized Distribution network, so that our customers can be sure that the items they buy come from the right source. Another way is to always check that the part is in the MWM packaging (according to the product line purchased, Genuine Parts, Master Parts or Optional Parts) and with the identification label, with the part number and description, barcode and batch.

Our distribution network is able to identify the correct part for your MWM engine, but it is important that you always have the engine's serial number or nameplate data to hand. Based on this information, it is possible to identify the correct part from our parts catalogs. However, if you have any questions, please contact the factory through our service channels and we will be happy to help you.
MWM makes parts catalogs available to its authorized distribution network. With this tool, they are able to identify the right parts list for their application. The important thing is to always have the engine's serial number or nameplate data to hand.
Genuine Parts are those that are born with MWM engines in their design, meeting the strictest technical engineering and quality requirements and are the same parts that we use in our assembly line. Optional Parts are parts developed exclusively for the aftermarket and for MWM engines, approved by MWM engineering and which meet all the characteristics and requirements that MWM demands of its products.

The Master Parts line is dedicated to the multi-brand market and offers solutions in Spare Parts for engine applications from other manufacturers, as well as items for transmission, suspension, among others, but with the guaranteed quality of MWM.

An important point is that the MWM Genuine Parts line is guaranteed for 12 months, while the Optional Parts and Master Parts lines are guaranteed for 06 months. The warranty is valid from the date of issue of the Sales Invoice for the item to the end customer.
For engines from other brands, MWM offers the Master Parts line, which provides Spare Parts solutions for applications from other multi-brand manufacturers, but with the guaranteed quality of MWM.
Information about the discontinuation of a Spare parts item is provided through MWM's communication channels with its authorized distribution network (through our parts catalogs and newsletters). All you have to do is go to one of our authorized spare parts distributors and check the availability of your part. However, if you have any questions, please contact the factory through our service channels and we will be happy to help you.
Failure to use MWM spare parts during the warranty period will void the product warranty, so our recommendation is to always use MWM spare parts when servicing or repairing your MWM engine or equipment.
Inquiries about spare parts available in stock should be made through the MWM authorized distribution network. All you have to do is go to one of our authorized spare parts distributors and check the availability of your part. However, if you have any questions, please contact the factory through our service channels and we will be happy to help you.
About Warranty and Support

Opening a warranty may vary according to the type of product purchased. However, we will try to clarify the procedures for each product line as best we can.



In the case of Spare parts or engines purchased from our Authorized Network, in order to activate the warranty, you must go to the authorized MWM distributor where the part or engine was purchased, with the product's purchase invoice in hand, and request the item's warranty. It is important to bear in mind that the item in question must be within the validity period according to the line of parts purchased and that the warranty is subject to MWM's technical analysis.

In the case of equipment from other manufacturers using MWM engines, you should contact a dealer or the equipment manufacturer itself. The manufacturer will then contact MWM to request warranty service for the product.

In the case of MWM equipment (MWM Gensets, MWM Lighting Towers or MWM Motor Pumps) you can go directly to the MWM Authorized Distributor that sold the equipment and request the warranty. It is important to bear in mind that the equipment in question must be within the warranty period.
The warranty period varies according to the product line purchased or even the origin of the purchase.


In the case of MWM equipment (MWM Gensets, MWM Lighting Towers or MWM Motor Pumps) or MWM engines purchased from our authorized distribution network, check the owner's manuals and/or warranty certificate that come with the equipment.

In the case of equipment from other manufacturers using MWM engines, the recommendation is to check the warranty period offered by the manufacturer in the specific publications supplied with the equipment.

In the case of MWM Spare Parts, the MWM Genuine Parts line has a limited warranty of 12 (twelve) months, while the Optional Parts and Master Parts lines have a limited warranty of 06 (six) months. It is important to mention that both periods include the 90 (ninety) day legal warranty. The warranty is valid from the date of issue of the Sales Invoice for the item to the end customer.

The warranty on MWM products is subject to technical analysis by MWM.
We recommend that you always seek out our Authorized Service Network to carry out maintenance and corrections on MWM engines and equipment, regardless of whether the product is within or outside the warranty period. This will ensure that the service carried out complies with MWM's standards, procedures, norms and requirements, guaranteeing the product's durability and reliability.
No, MWM does not offer an extended warranty for its product range. However, in the case of equipment from other manufacturers using MWM engines, the recommendation is to consult the warranty terms of the equipment purchased.
In the case of spare parts, if the item has not been installed, you should go to the authorized MWM distributor where the part was purchased, with the product's purchase invoice in hand, and ask for the item to be exchanged. If the item has already been installed in the engine when the defect was identified, the recommendation is to go to the authorized MWM distributor where the part was purchased, with the product's purchase invoice in hand, and ask for the item to be guaranteed.

In the case of MWM equipment (MWM Gensets, MWM Lighting Towers or MWM Motor Pumps) you can go directly to the MWM Authorized Distributor who sold the equipment and request the warranty.

About Documentation and Technical Information

The MWM Genuine Parts catalog is for the restricted use of the MWM Authorized Network. It may not be distributed and/or sold to end customers or users.


If you are part of the MWM Authorized Network, you will have to fill in a registration form after installation in order to be granted access. If you have registered and your access has not been granted, please contact MWM through our official channels.

You can download the MWM Master Parts Catalog from the following link (Link). After downloading and installing the software, fill in the registration details and wait for access to be granted.
MWM makes its parts catalogs available exclusively to its authorized distribution network. With this tool, they are able to identify the right parts list for their application.
For equipment from other manufacturers, check the publications and manuals supplied with the equipment.

About Training and Capacity Building
The training given by MWM to its Authorized Network is onsite.

For the MWM authorized network, there is currently no charge for the courses given, but the participant is responsible for the costs of accommodation, travel (trips or transportation) and meals (lunch is covered by MWM during the course days).
